What is a SWMS library?
Store SWMS in your library so that they can be copied to similar projects with identical risks
The SWMS Library allows you to store Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) for import into multiple projects, reducing the need to request the same SWMS from a Subbie for multiple projects.
Once the SWMS library is enabled you will have three options about how you issue a request for SWMS to a Subbie:
- None: No SWMS is required
- SWMS for this project: The SWMS is required only for this project
- SWMS for the library: The SWMS is required and will be stored in the library for future use
The process for review of a SWMS is the same, and once a SWMS in the library is reviewed that review will be applied to anywhere that SWMS has already been associated to a proejct.
On any new project, simply import SWMS from the Library by adding the Subbie to the project and importing the SWMS from the Library.
The signing process for SWMS remains unchanged. Workers can sign SWMS on-site by selecting their employer when they arrive.
