How do I share a checklist with a worker?

Step 1: Access Project Overview

To begin, log in to your BuildPass account and navigate to the project overview page.

Step 2: Open Checklists Section

Once you are on the project overview, locate and click on the "Checklists" option in the menu. This will take you to the list of available checklists for the project.

Step 3: Choose the Checklist to Share

From the list of checklists, identify the one you want to share with your workers. Click on it to select it.

Step 4: Show Checklist to Workers (Option 1)

After selecting the desired checklist, click on the "More" option. A drop-down menu will appear.

Step 5: Select "Show Checklist to Workers"

From the drop-down menu, choose "Show Checklist to Workers." This action will make the checklist visible to your workers on their BuildPass app. They will be able to access it and use it for their tasks.

Step 6: Share Checklist Using QR Code (Option 2)

Alternatively, if you prefer to provide a physical version of the checklist, select "Share Checklist" from the drop-down menu.

Step 7: Verify the Correct Checklist

Before proceeding, ensure that you have selected the correct checklist for sharing. Verify its contents and details.

Step 8: Generate QR Code

Click on the "Generate QR Code" option. The app will create a unique QR code for the selected checklist.

Step 9: Print QR Code for On-Site Use

If you choose to print the QR code, ensure you have the necessary printing equipment available. Print the QR code and place it on the site where workers can easily scan it with their smartphones.

Step 10: Share Checklist Using a Link

If you prefer to share the checklist digitally, choose the "Copy Link" option from the same drop-down menu.

Step 11: Send the Checklist Link to Workers 

Once you've copied the link, you can share it with your workers through various messaging platforms, such as email, instant messaging, or project management tools. When they click the link, it will take them directly to the checklist.

Finally, if your workers have any questions or encounter issues while using the shared checklist, let them know they can seek assistance by using the "little green chat box" in the right-hand corner of the BuildPass app.
