Who can see project and company documents?
Understand who can see project and company documents. This article outlines the access permissions for viewing project and company documents.
Access Project Overview
- Start by navigating to the project overview page in your BuildPast account.
Access Documents Section
- Within the project overview, locate and click on the "Documents" section.
Navigate to Company Documents
- In the "Documents" section, find and select the "Company Documents" option.
Choose a Document
- Browse through the list of company documents and select the one you want to share.
Edit Document
- After selecting the document, click on the "Edit" option.
Make Document Available
- In the document editing interface, you'll see an option to make the document available to all workers. Select this option to share the document with all workers. If you want to revoke access, unselect it.
Save Changes
- After making your selection, click the "Save" button to save the changes. This action will determine whether the document is accessible to all workers or not.
Repeat for Project Documents
- The same process applies to project documents. To share a project document, navigate to the "Project Documents" section, select the document you want to share, click "Edit," and choose to make it available or not to all workers.
Confirmation
- Once you've made a document available to all workers, it will be accessible to them. You will receive confirmation that the document is shared.
