How do I request documents again?

Step 1: Access BuildPass 

• Open BuildPass and navigate to the subcontractor management section where you handle document requests.

Step 2: Locate the Subcontractor

• Find the specific subcontractor for whom you want to reissue a document request.

Step 3: Re-invite the Subcontractor

• Within the subcontractor's profile in BuildPass, you have two options:
  • Option 1: Re-invite Them
    • Click on "Invite Again." This action will send the subcontractor both a link and a request for documents.

Step 4: Request Specific Documents

• Alternatively, if you only need specific documents from the subcontractor, you can choose this option in BuildPass:
  • Option 2: Request Specific Documents
    • Select the "Request Documents" option within BuildPass.
    • Choose the specific documents you want to collect from the subcontractor. For example, in the transcript, they mention selecting "insurances."

Step 5: Customise Document Collection

• Depending on your needs in BuildPass, you can customise the document collection. In the scenario where the subcontractor only needs to upload one thing (e.g., insurances), you can specify that.
  • For instance, if they don't have their SWIMS (Safety Work Method Statements) yet, you can turn off the SWIMS request.

Step 6: Send the Document Request

• After customising the document collection in BuildPass, click "Send Request." This document request will be sent out to the subcontractor, and they will only be required to upload the specific documents you've requested (e.g., insurances).

Step 7: Repeat for Additional Documents

• If you need to collect more documents from the same subcontractor within BuildPass, you can repeat this process. For example, you can send another request to collect their SWIMS when they have it ready.
