How to Use Worker Pre-Starts Module for Daily Information and Acknowledgement
The worker pre-starts module is a useful tool for getting daily information out to workers and ensuring that they acknowledge it. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to use this module:
Step 1: Go to the Safety Pre-Starts
To access the worker pre-starts module, go to the safety pre-starts section of the system. This can usually be found in the main menu or dashboard.
Step 2: Create a Pre-Start
Once you are in the safety pre-starts section, click on the "create pre-start" button to begin creating a pre-start message. Enter the information about the day, such as any safety hazards or equipment issues that workers need to be aware of. After you have filled in the necessary information, click on the "create" button to save the pre-start message.
Step 3: Workers Scan the QR Code
When workers arrive on site, they will need to sign in for the day. They can do this by scanning a QR code that is usually posted at the site entrance or in a central location. Once they scan the QR code, they will be taken to the sign-in screen.
Step 4: Acknowledge the Pre-Start
After workers have scanned the QR code, they will be shown the pre-start message that you created. They will need to acknowledge this message before they can sign in for the day. This ensures that they have read and understood the information that you have provided.
Step 5: Check Acknowledgements
Once workers have acknowledged the pre-start message, you can check their acknowledgements in the worker pre-starts module. You will see a worker's acknowledge count go from zero to one, indicating that they have read and acknowledged the message. If you click into the pre-start message, you can see a list of all workers who have acknowledged it.
Using the worker pre-starts module is an effective way to communicate daily information to workers and ensure that they acknowledge it. By following these simple steps, you can make sure that your workers are up to date with the latest safety information and equipment issues.
