How to customise site inductions
Set up your site induction to be project-specific
If you already have a customised induction that you would like set as your default site induction - please contact the BuildPass support team and we can update this for you.
Step 1
- Login to your BuildPass account and navigate to the "Site Inductions" page.
- On the "Site Inductions" page, ensure you have selected the project you want to update the site induction for.
Step 2:
- In the top right-hand corner of the "Site Inductions" page, you'll find a menu button.
- Click on the menu button, and you will see two options: "Preview Induction" and "Customise Induction.". Click on the "Customise Induction" option to start customising your site induction for the current project.
Step 3:
- You'll have two options here:
- Edit the Default Site Induction: This option allows you to make changes to the default site induction that will apply across all your projects. Be cautious with this option, as this will change every project
- Clone and Edit the Induction: This option is recommended when you want to add project-specific information. It allows you to create a copy of the default induction, which you can then modify without affecting other projects.
Step 4:
- Choose the "Clone" option to to copy either the default induction or an induction from another project.
- Update the template name so that you can find it later.
- Now, review each section and identify what you would like to change for this project.
Step 5:
- Once you've made all the necessary modifications, click on the "Save" button to save your customised site induction.
