How to request custom document types from subcontractors

Request custom document types from subcontractors easily. This guide shows you how to ask for specific documents from subcontractors for better project management.

Step 1: Access Your Project Overview

  1. Open your BuildPass application.
  2. Navigate to the Project Overview section.

Step 2: Select Your Subcontractor

  1. Scroll down to the Subcontractors section.
  2. Locate and select the subcontractor you want to invite.

Step 3: Invite Subcontractor to the Project

  1. Tick the checkbox next to the subcontractor's name.
  2. Click on Invite to Project.

Step 4: Request Custom Document Types

  1. In the invitation window, look for the section labelled Custom Document Types.
  2. Enter the type of document you need.
  3. Click on Send Invite.

Step 5: Review Submitted Documents

  1. Once the subcontractor submits the requested document, go to the Documents section of your project.
  2. Navigate to the Other Documents subsection.
  3. Here, you will see the uploaded custom document
