What is a site induction?

site induction is the process that new workers undergo when they arrive on-site. It serves to introduce them to the specific safety practices, procedures, and protocols of that particular site.

At BuildPass, this process is typically initiated by scanning a QR code and includes the following steps:

  1. Completing the worker profile
  2. Completing the templated induction
  3. Uploading any required tickets
  4. Signing onto relevant Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS)
  5. Signing on for the day

On BuildPass the templated induction (step 2) and the required tickets (step 3) can be customised to suit the requirements of the project. It is also important to point out that the SWMS a worker signs will have been submitted by their employer and approved by the builder.

BuildPass’ intuitive induction module will ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and mitigate the risk of accidents onsite.
