What are other documents?
Understand other documents. This article explains the types and purposes of additional documents you might encounter in project management.
Step 1: Accessing the "Other Documents" Section
- Log in to your BuildPass account.
- Navigate to the "Documents" section of the platform.
- Within the "Documents" section, you will find three categories: "Company Documents," "Project Documents," and "Other Documents."
- Click on the "Other Documents" section to proceed.
Step 2: Uploading Documents to "Other Documents"
- In the "Other Documents" section, you have the freedom to upload any document you need, particularly for subcontractors.
- To upload a document, click the "Upload" button or drag and drop the document into the designated area.
- Select the document from your computer and confirm the upload.
Step 3: Adding Documents via Subcontractors
- Navigate to the "Subcontractors" section from the main menu.
- Select a subcontractor, for instance, "BuildPass."
- Choose the option to "Invite to Project" for the selected subcontractor.
- When inviting a subcontractor, you may be prompted to select a document type. If you choose a "Custom Document Type" and proceed to upload a document under this category, it will automatically be stored in the "Other Documents" section.
