Do you have an email I can send to my Subbies to introduce BuildPass?

We recommend you send an email to your Subbies letting them know that your sites are now running BuildPass. An example of what you should say in this email is below:


Hi there,


This is a quick note to let you know that we will be using a new software platform called BuildPass to manage all of our sites.


It’s going to help us manage the paperwork that none of us like doing and it is super easy to use. It even has a bunch of templates for SWMS in case you need them!


What you can expect when we start our next project

  1. You will get an email from hello@buildpass.com.au inviting you to the project
    1. This will be where you can create SWMS and upload SDS and insurances.
  2. You will also get the occasional email reminders about insurances if they expire during the project
  3. When you arrive to site there will be a QR code that your workers will scan to induct and sign onto SWMS
  4. You might also receive some emails regarding defects or other action items required on our projects



Please note

  • Once insurances are uploaded once, you won’t have to re-upload while they are still valid
  • SWMS are site-specific and will need to be submitted for each project that you are doing high risk work on.
  • You can use the BuildPass SWMS builder if you don't have SWMS.
  • Once the workers have set up a profile to be inducted, future site inductions only take a few minutes
