How Can I Create a Timesheet from Sign On/Sign Off Entries?
Easily generate timesheets using your Sign On and Sign Off data for accurate time tracking.
The new Sign On/Sign Off integration in the Timesheets module allows you to create timesheets based on your attendance, automatically pulling data from your project sign-on and sign-off entries. This feature is available both in the Worker app and on the admin side. Here's how to use it:
- In the Worker app, navigate to Timesheets and select Create Timesheet.
- You'll notice a new button at the top labeled Generate Timesheet for. Click this button to begin the process.
- Choose the time period you want to generate the timesheet for, such as This Week.
- The system will automatically populate a timesheet entry for each day where a Sign On was logged.
- If there are any days where no sign-on was recorded, you can remove those entries manually.
- For each day with a sign-on entry, the system will automatically calculate your hours. The times are rounded to the nearest tenth of an hour.
- Once you've reviewed and made any necessary adjustments, you can submit the timesheet.
On the Admin side, the process is similar but with additional options:
- In the Timesheets module, create a new timesheet and choose the worker you are generating it for.
- The system will again allow you to generate a timesheet based on Sign On/Sign Off data, filling in the start and end times automatically.
- As an admin, you will also have the option to automatically approve the timesheet upon creation, which is not available to workers.
After reviewing, admins can approve and finalise the timesheet, ensuring all data is accurate before saving.
